Avery's first day of school

Avery loves preschool. She is just like her mom when it comes to getting out of the house and being around others. I think she was really excited to get back to preschool this year as it is all she talks about when she is home.

Firestation tour

Since most of the girl's friends are boys, we had a local firestation tour. Avery was in camp so it was just me, Emerson and a bunch of our friends. Here is Emerson with Josh on the front of big Engine!

Avery's hair cut

I cut a good 4 inches off of her hair and for a long time I missed it. She looked older, which I wasn't ready for. But now I like it though I don't think I will be cutting again until next summer.

The Zoo

We went to the zoo with Julie, Josh and Erin. Julie is a very good friend of mine, Josh is Avery's little boyfriend and Erin and Emerson are baby buddies. I think we picked the best day of the summer to go as it was only about 85 degrees and beautiful in the shade. We had a great time!!!!
