Annual Halloween party at the Dupler's!

Our annual Halloween party was another great one. We missed Sam and Hudson, but Hudson was sick so they came the next day when he was feeling better. Our dear friends, the Yale's, joined us for the day. We started it off with cookie decorating, and then lunch. The kids played outside, fished, and threw the football around. Then we carved pumpkins and got the kids dressed and ready for Boo in the Zoo. When I put on Emerson's costume, no one got it. So I think I will change it for the big day. Oh well, so much for trying to be unique (first one to guess what she is from the pics below gets a hi five and bottle of wine!). Anyway, the zoo was lots of fun. The weather was perfect, the kids were behaved, and it only took about an hour. And their sacks of candy were huge!!!

Oh, did I mention it was my birthday? No? I wonder why.......................because after 21, who keeps track????? :)

Pumpkin Patch

We made it to the pumpkin patch two weeks ago. The girls had a great time riding on the wagon, petting the animals, sitting on a saddle, picking out their pumpkins and lunch with friends afterwards. It is amazing how hard it is to keep an eye on Avery while chasing Emerson around and trying to keep her from kissing the goats. I swear Emerson is going to be a Vet, she loves animals very much. Oh, and trying to take pictures too. Remind me to go with Greg next time!!!

Photo shoot

My very talented friend, Tracey Bower, is starting her photography business again and I am thrilled. To help her fill her portfolio, we took the girls to a local farm and she started shooting. I am so pleased with how these turned out. If you are in the area and would like to have some keepsakes of your own, her site is bowerstudio.com. She is great with kids and as you can see, extremely good at what she does. Thanks, Tracey!!!!

Atlanta

Greg had to go to Atlanta for a few days last week so the girls and I tagged along. We were able to see the Walker's and my one of my best friends, Courtney and her boyfriend Scott. We stayed in a hotel room and were worried Avery wouldn't fall asleep with us in the room. Putting them to bed at 10:00 each night takes care of that! The girls were angels and we had a great time. Wednesday we had dinner with Aunt Kim, Uncle Mason and cousins John Lawrence and Mac. I forgot to take pictures but the girls had a wonderful time. Avery and JL were adorable together. They played, ate dinner and rode in the Jeep together. Avery talked about them all the rest of the week.

On Thursday we went down to the aquarium. What a great place, I highly recommend a trip. There were so many beautiful exhibits. That night we went for dinner with Courtney and Scott. The girls loved them too! Scott was surrounded by candles as the girls kept bringing them to him. It was adorable. I wonder if he got the baby bug?????

Hilton Head

We were invited to Hilton Head with the Yale's for a couple of days and had a blast! It was the girl's first time to see the ocean and they LOVED it. A great time was had by all.
